BETHLEHEM. Z The Bethlehem Police warn the community about a man claiming to be the son of a prominent political figure in the Free State, who is on a spree as a con artist in Bethlehem, targeting guest houses and hotels.

He is alleged to have booked himself into one of the local guest houses on Thursday, 8 September, with the promise that he would make the payment later.

The following morning, he checked himself out and vanished, taking a set of keys belonging to the guest house.

On Friday, 9 September, he approached a local hotel for overnight accommodation.

Similarly, he promised to make a payment the following morning. However, he disappeared immediately after being issued with keys, never to be seen again.

The suspect, who goes by the alias Mpho Magashule, is tall, has a gold tooth and several tattoos on his arms.

He was last seen wearing a black sports top, black pants, and green training shoes.

Anyone who sees him is asked to alert the nearest police station or call 08600-10111.
