BETHLEHEM. - The countdown has begun for the Miss Dihlabeng 2015-’16 pageant.

The Miss Dihlabeng will be crowned on Saturday, 19 December, at the Bethlehem Town Hall.

The auditioning team has already decided on 24 finalists who will be competing for this prestigious crown.

“As this is a community project, we have decided to also launch a reader’s choice competition.

“Each of the 24 finalists has been allocated with a unique code and the readers can vote for their favorite contestant,” Shadrack Maboea, the event marketer and co-ordinator said.

Information on the 24 finalists, with their unique codes, will be published in the next edition of Express.

The finalists have already gone through their paces when a choreography workshop was presented on Tuesday (1/12) at the Bohlokong New Hall.

“All the girls are gorgeous and the judges will get a headache to come up with a winner.

“The finalists have shown a lot of energy and enthusiasm, which make the contest very exciting,” Maboea said.

The pageant was officially launched by the Dihlabeng executive mayor, Tjhetane Mofokeng, on 19 October at the Dihlabeng Mall.

Exciting prizes awaits the winners of this year’s pageant and more emphasis has been put on the importance of education.

This is an event that will be enjoyed by everyone in Dihlabeng. Readers of Express are invited to take part in the reader’s choice competition.
