FSSO Spring Youth Concerto held

The Free State Symphony Orchestra (FSSO) Spring Youth Concerto Festival will be held on 2 September at 19:30 in the Odeion with the FSSO’s resident conductor Alexander Fokkens.

It will feature eight talented young soloists who auditioned to perform with the FSSO earlier this year. The programme is a melange of piano, violin, recorder and flute instrumentalists playing concertos by Mozart, Saint-Saëns, Ravel, Kabalevsky, Monti, Mouquet and Bruch and includes a vocalist (tenor).

Tickets are at Computicket: R150 (adults), R50 (students on presentation of valid student card), R100 (UFS staff and pensioners on presentation of valid card), R50 (children six to 18 years) and R100 (a group of ten or more).
