South Africa’s internationally acclaimed, multi-award winning group MTN Joyous Celebration is headed to Bloemfontein as part of its celebratory 21st national tour, Heal Our Land.

The mass gospel group’s performance in Bloemfontein on 26 August continues the mission to touch and positively influence the nation.

The Bloemfontein show will be at the University of the Free State’s South Campus Arena (Vista).

The tour is also destined for North West (2 September), Limpopo (8 September) and the Northern Cape (28 October).

Gauteng, Port Elizabeth, Middelburg and Cape Town have been a part of the Joyous 21 blessing.

“We are celebrating a great milestone at a time when the land is mired in great despair,” says past. Jabu Hlongwane, founder of the group.

“We cannot ignore the recent happenings in the world at large. That is the reason we invite you to come and celebrate our 21st anniversary with us. Use this opportunity to talk to our Father to provide us with the Solomonic wisdom that will guide us in restoring the calm of the land.”

As part of the celebratory 21st tour, the gospel music ensemble has decided to share with the community, giving its gorgeous outfits to deserving choirs across the nine provinces and also giving away hampers, which include a CD and DVD.

“We urge all Free State choirs to send us an email with a picture, location and a short motivation of why they believe they are the deserving choir to receive one of MTN Joyous Celebration’s previous costumes,” said Lindelani Mkhize, producer and member of the group.

Written motivations must be sent to info@joyous.co.za by 26 August.
