Preparations are on course for the second Setsoto Soccer Tournament and Clocolan Music Festival from 17 to 31 December.

The jam-packed event was launched last year and featured ten soccer teams. Already 16 clubs have registered for this year’s edition. The two-week event provides a platform for youth in the rural and urban areas of the Setsoto Municipality to showcase their talent by participating in sport and community-building events.

Teboho Khothatso, organiser, said a fun-walk has been included as part of the opening proceedings.

A festival will be staged on 24 December at the Ikhatholleng Hall.

Registration is R700 per soccer team and closes tomorrow (15/12).

The overall winner will receive R10 000 and a jersey, the runner-up R5 000 and the third place achiever R3 500. Contact Teboho Khothatso (078-635-5081) or Sarah Tata (071-389-8333 for more information.
