Learners honoured

LEARNERS, parents and teachers of the Sesheng Primary School, in Loopeng village in the Joe Morolong municipality, held a celebration day on 12 February when they celebrated the Quality Learning and Teaching Campaign (QLTC).

Learners were presented with certificates of best performances in different learning areas of sport, good conduct, cleanliness, punctuality and academics during the academic year of 2015. The day was full of events, from drama to traditional dance.

Dikalelo Disang, principal of the school, said that his school lives up to its motto: “Your Manner Maketh Man”.

The learners were also given fruitful advice which they would do well to take with them for the rest of their lives.

“People should dream hard and not be thinking that they will fall hard,” Disang said.

A young boy, Tlholenyane Tlotliso, made everyone proud by obtaining certificates for being the best learner in English, Mathematics and also best learner in gr. 5.

The day ended with a feast for parents, learners, officials and teachers.
