SEED of Live Investments (SOLI) is set to start blossoming after joining forces with the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women.

That is after SOLI and more than 150 women attended a four day leadership and skills development workshop that was hosted by the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women and Enable-E-Africa.

SOLI is a locally-based women company with the objective of increasing women participation in the economy, thereby creating sustainable social and financial wealth for its members.

Both organizations that participated in the workshop, that was hosted on 25 to 28 July 2016 at Flamingo Casino Conference Centre in Kimberley, stand for the empowerment of women and support the development of women in business.

In promoting leadership positions and economic participation, the organisations create a platform to network with strategic partners.

The other objectives are, amongst others, to source cooperative funding, to expose the organizations to existing opportunities and prepare women to participate in the mainstream economy.

Ayanda Mvimbiof UN Women and Nomso Kana of Enable-e-Africa said they were very excited to partner with SOLI, walk the journey with them, and support women to achieve what they had set for themselves.
