MANCO MILAN, second–tier division from Sasolburg, conti-nue their miraculous run to win the South African Football Association (Safa) ABC Motsepe League Free State stream.

The newly-promoted team has been in the title summit since the start of the current season of 2015-’16 and did not put a foot wrong.

Milan intensified their title-winning aspirations collecting valuable points against two Bloemfontein teams, Bubchu United and Central University of Technology, Free State (CUT).

In the two decisive league fixtures played in Bloemfontein on 2 and 9 April, Milan salvaged four points, a win and draw.

The Sasolburg-based outfit demolished Bubchu by 3-0 and drew 1-all with CUT.

The result saw them widen the lead at the helm of the Free State’s ABC Motsepe League and they need four points to wrap up the title contest.

With three matches remaining to end the season, a win and draw will be enough for Milan to be crowned the Free State League champions of the ABC Motsepe – thus making history in their maiden season.

They are in the driving seat, boasting 56 points followed by Mangaung United in second place with 51.
