The Motheo Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) College in Bloemfontein has received another prestigious international award.

The award recognises the Motheo TVET College for the quality services it offers, in accordance with international standards and teaching methods.

The award-winning Free State institution is participating in this year’s Academic Union Quality in Education programme.

The Academic Union Council nominated the Motheo TVET College to be part of the special session on the basis of devotion to quality in education and the trends, strategies and practices of the institution.

The college, which has a satellite campus in the Xhariep District in the Free State, has been selected for the high level of the learning process it provides and the teaching of highly-qualified specialists in accordance with the latest international educational standards.

The Motheo TVET College has been recommended for the European Quality Award in the Education Sphere and also for the Excellence in Quality and Management Conference currently taking place in Lucerne, Switzerland.
