Quest for Nedbank Cup kicks off

THE 16 football clubs campaigning in the Free State stream of ABC Motsepe League will be in action on Saturday (01/10) and Sunday (02/10) to begin their quest to clinch the 2016 Nedbank Cup.

They will compete on knockout basis to determine which four teams go through to the final leg of the competition.

Games in Bloemfontein, Qwaqwa and Welkom will see derbies on the day.

Welkom’s derby features Dinonyana vs Harmony, Bloemfontein’s derbies see Bubchu United vs Mangaung Unite, Hunters vs Central University of Technology. Qwaqwa derbies feature African Warriors against cross-town rivals Super Eagles and Tshiame All Stars against Dla2. Bloemfontein Young Tigers meet Dikwena in Ficksburg. The four teams that win, meet in the next leg on 29 October in Qwaqwa.
