2016-11-16 06:02

This year’s Setsoto Soccer Tournament and Clocolan Music Festival will be staged from 17 to 31 December with a lot of activities.

The two-week event provides a platform for youth in the rural and urban areas of the Setsoto Municipality to showcase their talent by participating in sport and community-building events. It also promotes football.

Teboho Khothatso, organiser, said this year a fun walk has been included as part of opening proceedings on 17 December. He said the music festival will be held on 24 December at the Ikhatholleng Hall.

Registration is open to all football teams across the province and registration is R700.

The overall winner will receive R10 000, the runner-up R5 000 and the third place achiever R3 500. Registration forms are available at libraries in the Setsoto Local Municipalities.

For more information, contact Teboho Kho-thatso (078-635-5081) or Sarah Tata (071-389-8333).
