Hoewel die meeste mense die Mokala- Nasionale Park besoek vir die wye verskeidenheid wildespesies wat daar te siene is, is daar ook ander skatte wat dikwels misgekyk word.

Rotsgravures wat deur die oorspronklike inwoners van Suid-Afrika, die San, in klippe op ’n koppie in die Mokala- Nasionale Park aangebring is, is waarskynlik een van die park se bes bewaarde geheime.

Dié rotskuns bied ’n interessante dimensie tot die park en kan op versoek besigtig word.

Die beste tyd om die klippe te besoek hang af van die posisie van die son, maar dit is gewoonlik in die oggend of laat in die middag.

Volgens dr. David Morris, hoof­argeoloog van die McGregor-museum, is dit moeilik om die presiese ouderdom van hierdie rotsgravures met sekerheid te bepaal, maar word daar geglo dat dit tussen 1 000 en 3 000 jaar gelede deur jagter-versamelaars van die latere steentydperk aangebring is.
