The Engo welfare fundraising project, For Our Children, is being held again this year in support of the less fortunate.

A brand-new Chevrolet Utility bakkie can be won by a member of the public who participates in this fundrai-sing initiative of Engo.

To participate in the initiative, members of the public need to purchase a ticket for R30, automatically qualifying to win the vehicle.

The campaign for this year was announced on Monday, 24 April in Bloemfontein.

This year is the ninth edition of this project.

  • Proceeds raised through the sale of tickets go towards the following Engo programmes: Engo Child and Youth Care:

It caters for 34 youth centres in the Free State.

  • These centres care for 800 children per year.Engo Aged Care:
  • It provides for 24 centres for aged care in the Free State.Engo Family Care:

Christa Maree, director at Engo, said that people who buy tickets say “I care”.

Every rand made through the sale of tickets goes towards the physical care for children and people who really need it.

This year’s sponsors are the same as in previous years.

The sponsors have committed themselves again towards supporting the fund-raising initiative.

The sponsors are Volksblad’s Central Region Newspapers, Radio Rosestad and Imperial GM.

Imperial GM sponsors the brand-new Chevrolet Utility bakkie.

Tickets are available at all sub-programmes of Engo, the Engo provincial offices at 22 Van Heerden Road in Bloemfontein, Ons Kinderhuis in Victoria Road in Bloemfontein and at the Bloem Show in the Tulip Hall (T30).
