2015-12-16 06:00

BETHLEHEM. – Following a disappointing 1-1 draw against the struggling University of Pretoria on Sunday (13/12) Free State Stars returns to action on Saturday (19/12) in search of a win against Jomo Cosmos.

Ea Lla Koto will welcome Izinkosi at the Goble Park Stadium in Bethlehem in a Absa Premier League encounter. Kick-off is scheduled for 15:00.

The Bethlehem-based outfit will be hoping to get three points that will seal a top eight spot before going on the Christmas break.

Stars are sitting on position ten with 12 points after ten games while Cosmos are third from bottom with ten points after 11 league games.

The two teams are not safe yet from the relegation zone as they are five and seven points away from Maritzburg United who are rooted at the bottom of the table with 5 points in 11 games.

The game promises to be a tight one as the two teams have failed to produce results in their last five meetings. Stars last won on 24 August 2011 by 1-0 at Goble Park.
