Bethlehem. – The Free State Stars are through to the quarter finals of the Telkom Knockout Tournament.

This was after Ea Lla Koto knocked out Bidvest Wits from the tournament, beating them with a 3-1 score in the game that took place at the Goble Park Stadium in Bethlehem on Saturday (22/10).

Moeketsi Sekola, Sthembiso Dlamini and Danny Venter scored the three goals for Stars.

Daine Klate scored the lone goal for the MTN8 champions.

Stars have joined the likes of Super Sport United, Baroka FC, Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates, Cape Town City and Highlands Park in the draw.

These seven teams will be joined by Mamelodi Sundowns.

Mamelodi Sundowns locked horns with Polokwane City at the Lucas Moripe Stadium in Pretoria on Sunday evening (23/10).

Sundowns won the Confederation of African Football (CAF) trophy in this away match away against Zamalek.
