Ubuntu Awards

THE Department of International Relations and Cooperation has called for nominations for the annual Ubuntu Awards for ordinary individuals and organisations who, through excellence, creativity, social responsibility and patriotism, have distinguished themselves as global brand ambassadors.

Submit nominations via www.ubuntuawards.com by 20 January.

Minister Maite Nkoana-Mashabane will host the annual Ubuntu Awards at the Cape Town International Convention Centre on Saturday, 13 February.

Previous award winners include the former Chief of State Protocol, Ambassador Billy Modise, liberation struggle stalwart, Ruth Mompati, champion swimmer Chad le Clos, and singer/songwriter, entrepreneur and humanitarian, Yvonne Chaka Chaka.
