A Thaba Nchu woman, Esther Kenalemang Seleke (45), has died on 12 February, hours after an act by her lover, Sello Augustinas Ntheri (50), who has been charged with her murder.

Sgt. Martin Xuma, police spokesperson, says Ntheri had allegedly pumped water into Seleke’s body by forcing a garden hosepipe into her vagina. She managed to phone the police and emergency medical services for help, but died in hospital.

Ntheri reappeared in court on Tuesday (28/02).
