Rising football star, Lebohang Matona, of the HTS Louis Botha Secondary School has been chosen as the July winner of Express’s Let’s Play Sports Star of the Month.

He was chosen for his excellent achievements in football.

Lebohang (15) is a Gr. 8 learner and is a very eager, brilliant boy in the community.

He is also very passionate about sports.

Lebohang is a person who is willing to influence his peers to participate in sports and is a leader and role model to many of his peers.

Lebohang plays as a middle-centre for his amateur team, Dramatic FC in Begman.

Currently he plays for the u.15 school’s team.

Recently Lebohang played in Bloemfontein Celtic trials and progressed to the third round of the tournament.

He was also part of Louis Botha’s u.15 team which won this year’s Varsity Sports competition held recently.
