Casual Day 2015

2015-07-01 06:05

Friday 4 September

CASUAL Day, the country’s foremost fundraiser for persons with disabilities, raised R28 million countrywide last year. Sponsored by the Edcon Group, Casual Day is owned and managed by the National Council for Persons with Physical Disabilities in South Africa

Theme for 2015 is Spring into Action - colour for the year is refreshing, zingy mint and the date is 4 September.

Casual Day provides the country with the opportunity to show their solidarity for people with disabilities, and at the same time enjoying team-building and camaraderie with fellow participants.

Casual Day is a way for the disability sector to speak with one voice about ushering in a society that values human rights, inclusion, diversity and universal access to education for all its citizens.

The funds are raised as a result of a R10 donation for a Casual Day sticker available from Edgars, Jet, Absa, Shoprite and Checkers stores and the Casual Day website at www.casualday.co.za
