Depressing June weather update

IT will come as no surprise to Greytonians that the June rainfall is the lowest it has been in the past eight years and is way below the 41-year mean as recorded by Pannar Research Department

Rainfall for June was a sparse 2.2 (total over nine separate days) - the 41-year mean is 12.8.Totals recorded for the past past years:

2007/8: 10.5

2008/9: 2.5

2009/10: 5.8

2010/11: 49.8

21011/12: 15.6

2012/13: 15.2

2013/14: 8.6

All in all June’s weather has been blue skies and sunshine – on 15 days of the month temperatures of over 20°C were recorded. The coldest morning was -3.6°C on 6 June.
