THERE has been lots of action in the past few days.

Firstly Francois van Rooyen played against Wessel Pretorius in the singles championships and it was closer than one would imagine as they levelled at 11-11 by tea time.

Francois eventually won, but it was close. Only first round left to play is between Herbie Balzer and Ernie Weyks.

Tuesday was the Pannar trips fun day. It was sunny, but windy and lots of fun was had.

Thanks to Pannar for its sponsorship.

Jack Drew, Pam Paul and Tanya Schneider.

Second: Sannie Balzer, Michael Munitich and Tunie Muller.

Third: Gerard Balzer, Wendy Edkins and Lona du Plessis. Over the weekend Sannie Balzer took part in the Niba Ladies Masters and won her five games. She then played Gwen Stokes in the finals and won 21-11. Well done Sannie.

Also on Sunday in Wartburg, Greytown was represented by Karen Cordy, Wolfie Lubowitski, André Roberts and Chris Fischer. André and Chris were among the prize winners
