Greytown headlined for wrong reasons!

Media throughout the country have blasted the story that Trevor Noah’s cousin went missing from Greytown and murdered –her burnt body being found in a sugar plantation. Cebisile Happiness Khoza, a teacher at Nogida High School in Msinga was alleged to visit a Greytown beauty salon in preparation for a graduation ceremony the next day at UFS, Qwaqwa campus. Her boyfriend reported that he had dropped her off but that was the last he had seen of her.He claimed she was not at the salon , which had closed and he was unable to contact her.

The media reports claimed that her body had been found in a sugar plantation near Greytown.

However according to Police reports– the murder happened about two weeks ago and nowhere near Greytown. Tragically Cebisile was stabbed and burnt –her body was found by farm workers in a sugar plantation in the Harburg area.

The investigation and case is being handled by the Msinga and Harburg SAPS
