Hermannsburg happenings

2015-06-24 06:00

WITH the holidays having started last Friday, we trust that our pupils and teachers are relaxing and enjoying their time with their families, recharging the batteries for the new term.

We wish those who are travelling to holiday destinations or returning from afar, travelling mercies.

Our Grade 10 pupils return to South Africa this week, while the choristers who are part of the KZN Youth Choir travel to Poland for their tour and Ayanda Nzama travels to Austria to learn more about climate change.

We look forward to hearing all their stories when they return.

The next term is packed with a variety of activities, with athletics season in full swing, the HMB Golf Day and the school’s production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream at the end of the term.

A gala dinner for former pupils will be another highlight at term’s end.

There will also be the trial examinations for the Grade 12 pupils, and even at this early stage we wish them clear memories as they start to prepare for their last semester at school
