ON Tuesday 1 September Grade 1 and Grade 2 girls travelled to New Hanover and participated in a tournament. The Grade 1 girls played three games.

Scores: Greytown (3-0) Wembley. Greytown (4-0) Wembley. Greytown (1-1) New Hanover.

The Grade 2 pupils also played three games winning two and drawing one. Scores: Greytown(0-0) New Hanover. Greytown (2-1) Wembley. Greytown (5-0) New Hanover mixed.

On 3 September the JP athletics team took part in a fun athletics day at Wembley College. Despite the cold weather the children ran brilliantly, achieving eight first places and seven third places. The children had lots of fun and really enjoyed their day.

Spring is here - Greytown Junior School celebrated the arrival of spring on Friday. Beautiful pot plants were given to businesses, senior citizens, schools, hospitals and many others throughout the town to thank them for their support.

Our Grade R pupils sent beautiful petunia plants to their mothers.

On Saturday 5 September our athletics team travelled to Hermannsburg to participate in the annual Umvoti athletics meeting. There were a total of six schools and Greytown Junior School did exceptionally well. Kurt Mchunu was victor ludorum and Greytown School was placed first among the six participating schools
