SIMPLY Models held its graduation ceremony on 20 June after judging took place over the past two weeks.

The models dressed in their candy outfits put together by themselves and parents.

Results:

Jayden Barnard, gold+ with 93%

Kayla Marais, gold with 70%

Alzanne Barnard, gold++ with 100%

Odette Beckit, gold with 85%

Mpumi Ndlovela, gold+with 93%

Stomphy Spelman, gold with 74%

Khule Matetwa, silver with 67%

Sjudgeinganthisha Janthielayal, gold+ with 93%

Vamisele Dlamini, gold with 78%

Karishma Maharaj, gold with 89%

Lisa Marie Byeleveld, gold with 81%

We also had the privilege of getting to the oficial opening of Mavundla Square on Saturday morning and it was an honour to be part of this event.

We congratulate Mr Mavun-dla on the opening and wish them many fruitful years of business.

One week to go for entries for Mr, Miss and Mrs Umvoti 2015. The winners will be ambassadors for Umvoti. Each winner of a category will receive one year free modelling classes with Simply Models Greytown. The second and first princess and prince will be part of the social club for for one year for free. First-round entry is free. Boys and girls from age five and older can enter.

Second-round judging will be on 18 July and semi-finalists chosen on 18 July will receive a free Wembley College Duck Derby ticket that will allow them to watch all the shows during the weekend. This will also be your entry for final judging and crowning that will take place on 12 September.

We are also looking for old paint for our Mandela Day project. If you have old paint in the garage that you are willing to give away for a good cause, contact Simply Models Greytown.

We want to wish our models a well deserved rest over the holidays. We have a busy third term ahead.

Enrolment for the third term is now open and we will start classes again on 15 July
