MARC and Sarah Barber had their Flemish Giant rabbits at the Royal Show last week. They received first, second and third prizes as well as reserve junior champs. They breed and care for the rabbits themselves.

Sarah did her Grade 3 ballet exam on Monday, 8 June. She passed with a high merit.

Throughout the term the HS tennis players have been battling it out on the tennis court in the annual mixed doubles championships­.

On Wednesday 10 June, Dean Paige, Hannah Tedder, Lance Comins and Jaimee Buchan played in the championship finals. The match was well contested and some excellent tennis was displayed by both couples. Congratulations to Lance and Jaimee for winning the match 6-4 and walking away with the trophy. Congratulations are also due to their opponents for putting up a great fight. Well done to players and thank you to Mrs L. Wolmarans for all her organising.

Rugby U9 vs Ashton, Howick and Greytown Junior: lost three and drew one

Rugby U11 vs Ashton, Greytown Junior, Howick: played four matches, lost four.

Rugby U13 vs Treverton A, Treverton B, Ashton, Greytown Junior: played four matches, lost four.

Hockey U9 girls vs New Hanover 2-2 drew, vs Bisley 5-1 lost, Hermannsburg 10-0 won and Wartburg 8-0 won.

Hockey U10 girls vs Lynford A lost 0-1, vs St John’s won 1-0, vs Bisley 0-0, vs Lynford B won 2-0.

Hockey U11 girls vs Wartburg 2-0 won, vs Lynford 2-2 drew, vs Bisley 2-0 lost.

Hockey U13 girls vs Treverton lost 0-1, vs St. Johns 0-0, vs Lynford won 0-1, vs Wartburg won 0-1.

Rugby U9 vs Ridge, Laddsworth, Eston, Lynford lost one drew three.

Rugby Opens vs Hermannsburg won 31-7, vs Grace College lost 27-0, vs St Nicholas won 33-5.

Rugby U16 vs Hermannsburg, Grace College, St Nicholas won one, lost two.

Girls’ hockey U16 vs Domino Servite won 5-0, vs St Patricks lost 2-0, vs Wartburg won 1-0, vs Hermannsburg won 4-0.
