FIVE months ago the Greytown Gazette emailed a photo of this concrete block with a protruding steel hook to Umvoti Municipality requesting that the block be moved back to where it should be - the photo and request has since been resent four times to the municipality.

The only reaction in the five months was a phone call just before President Zuma's last visit to inquire where the block is. As it obviously was not on the presidential route - no action was or has been taken.

The block that was dug up and moved and is a danger, not only to vehicles, but also to a number of young school children, who play around it and slide under the culvert.
