ALTHOUGH a small school with limited resources and poor infrastructure, Emgaga Primary School teachers and pupils continue to make their mark in the academic and cultural fields.
Situated in rural eThembisweni, the school this year won many trophies in the language festival as well as other academic competitions.

Grade 6 pupil Xolelwa Msomi represented Umvoti CMC in the Spelling Bee contest in Dundee and went through to the final round on 18 August.

Taking part in the cultural competition at Lakhis sports field on 12 August Emgaga pupils achieved a first in Isicathamiya and praise poetry categories, and second in Afro Gospel.
The teams now go through to the district competition in Dundee on 26 August.

The school management team would like to thank the teachers, pupils and parents for their contributions and efforts to make the school successful and keep it in the spotlight in Greytown and surrounding areas. - Mr H.B. Mosiea.
