From the courts

2016-02-17 06:00

SATURDAY was the first family day tennis which will be held on the second Saturday of the month.

It was a great success and thanks to those who participated, the courts were full the entire afternoon with adults and children having lots of fun.

There were many rusty tennis shots being played in the beginning, but the tennis got better from there.

The bring and braai was well attended, and some of the younger men in the district were shown how to throw accurately by the more seasoned tennis stalwarts. The youngsters played tennis under lights well into the night. Well done to the organisers, and we look forward to another fun day on Saturday, 12 March, so please diarise this.
