From the Ditch

2016-10-26 06:00

FOUR Greytown bowlers, Tony Smith, Jacques Minnaar, Chris Fischer and André Roberts, played in the league in Pietermaritzburg on Saturday.

They played against a team from Maritzburg Bowling Club and won their game with a brilliant 34-4 score giving them full points for this round.

This weekend the league will be played on home ground and we wish them the best of luck.

The AGM takes place today, Wednesday - this is like our own general election and mini budget speech - who will lead the club into 2017, what will the programme be, will getting an influx of new members strengthen our economy? Keep your eyes peeled for the next exciting installment of "From the Ditch".
