WOMEN’S Day fun bowls was a great day –the green overflowed to the spare green to accommodate the many who came along to enjoy. Forty two bowlers took part in this successful Plennegy Print-sponsored day. Congratulations to Plennegy on the merger of the printing business, we know you will be very successful.

Victory was recorded by Karen Cordy’s team, including Ben Dede and Zee on a count-out spin to second team of Jack Drew, Eric Redinger and Mike Barrow - all on 27 points plus foul.

The first session was a one way spin for Wolfie Lubowitski, Aaron Powell ad Sue Thomson on a 29-0 romp. Second session went to Bryan Paul, Lynda Drogemoller and Mirelle,
The tavern was well supported and the braai delicious - thanks to all who helped make it a fantastic day.
