‘Greytown Gazette’ deadlines

2016-07-27 06:00

YES, it is happening again. Two public holidays so two issues of the Greytown Gazette on early deadlines.
The good news is that there are just two more public holidays this year - Heritage Day, 24 September falls on a Saturday, which is good news for the Greytown Gazette.
However, the Day of Reconciliation falls on Friday 16 December, and the final issue of the Greytown Gazette is Wednesday 21 December, but more about those deadlines in a few months time.

For the issue of Wednesday 3 August, local government election day, which has been declared public holiday, the deadline for display advertisements is Thursday 28 July at 1pm and for classifieds is 12pm on Friday 30 July.

Reports and photos from schools, sports, clubs, news, etc – deadline as usual - 10am on Monday 1 August. The Greytown Gazette will, as usual, be delivered to all retail outlets early on the morning of Wednesday 3 August.

National Women’s Day, a public holiday, is on Tuesday 9 August, so the early deadlines for the issue of 10 August are Thursday 1pm for display advertisements and Friday 12pm.

This means an earlier deadline for copy - Friday 1pm - this would be much appreciated with urgent reports as early on Monday as possible.
