AN exciting opportunity for musicians and artists throughout Umvoti is happening thanks to two enterprising Eshane residents who will be spending their June University holidays promoting local talent.

Sanele E. Qhawe Sithole, a DUT management science graduate studying for a diploma, is a well-known poetry-in-rhythm performer.
He composed his own mix tape that has sold well. His poems are broadcast weekly and he has had made many appearances performing his poetry in KZN.
He also runs an NPO company called The Youth Seed.

Sanele “Venomous Viper” Mzolo, a DUT human resources graduate, is a well-known rapper who has performed on many stages and on radio and both feature on social network.

The Kasi 2 Kasi tour has been organised with the aim of providing a platform for young and developing artist throughout Umvoti and give them coverage at various shows and on social media.

The tour starts in Eshane on Friday 24 June in the workshop hall.

Tour dates:
Thursday 30 June at Matimatolo Hall.

Saturday 2 July at Entembisweni­ Hall.

Saturday 9 July at Enseleni Hall.

Saturday 16 July at Enhlalakahle new hall

Events start at 11am until 5pm. Entry is R10 per person, which goes to the Greytown Children’s Home .
