OUR 2016 prefects were recently elected and have already taken up their duties as the prefects of 2015 write their senior certificate examinations.
We congratulate the new prefects on their appointment and thank the outgoing prefects for their hard work this year.

Examinations are in full swing, and while the Grade 11 and and Grade 10 pupils started last week, the Grade 8 and 9 pupils will start writing this week.
While we look forward to seeing the results of all the learning and effort they have put into their work this year, some of our pupils took time out to raise funds for the Germany Exchange Programme 2016 by selling pancakes at the weekend in King Edward Park, while also colouring hair to support the Pink and Blue drive.
Thanks to the Plennegy group for their sponsorship and support for this worthy cause.

On the sports front, the desperate need for rain was highlighted when the mini-gala due to be held at Piet Retief Primary in Pietermaritzburg was cancelled because the water was turned off in the city.
Our primary school boys’ cricket team played against Wartburg, coming up against a stronger team.
Julian Königkrämer again took two wickets and Aiden Coomber took one.
We look forward to their next game.
