Hermannsburg Happenings

2016-02-03 06:00

IN a promising start to the season, Hermannsburg’s 1st XI went in to bat against Greytown High School and made 112 for 8, to which Greytown replied with 78 all out (Erich Ortmann took a catch and two wickets for seven runs).

Hermannsburg won by 34 runs.

Wembley College proved a tougher nut to crack over the weekend, as they set a total of 136 for 3 after 20 overs (Mondli Dlamini 1 for 20). Hermannsburg made 22 runs in reply, losing by eight wickets.

We look forward to seeing all the athletes and their families, friends of HMB, parents and pupils at this week’s aQuellé Hermannsburg Mudman, which promises to be one of the best as we celebrate 160 years of Deutsche Schule Hermannsburg.

It’s not too late to enter, and please remember - Mudman has something for every member of the family.
