ONCE again our matriculants have done themselves, their parents and school proud - the Class of 2015 rocks. Our matriculants again achieved a 100% pass rate, with an average of 2,6 “A” symbols per pupil, which qualifies them to further their studies.

Tobias von Seydlitz, the 2015 dux of the school, achieved nine A symbols, placing in the top one percent of IEB achievers in Afrikaans first additional language, geography, German second additional language (with 100%), life orientation and mathematics.

Laura Zick achieved seven A symbols and was in the top one percent of IEB achievers for German home language. Monika Lucht achieved five A symbols, Christél Brooks four and Ilse Ortmann three, among those achieving A symbols for various subjects.

All those who took the advanced programme English course (almost the whole class), set at UK A level- standard, passed the advanced programme examination comfortably. The course benefited them across all their subjects as they improved their ability to understand questions and formulate answers.

Whenever the matric results are made known, the high-flyers are deservedly heaped with praise and congratulations, but special congratulations are also extended to all our other matriculants for persevering and making full use of the opportunities offered to them at our school, putting in the hard work needed to achieve fine results of which they can be proud.

Thank you parents, for giving your children the opportunity to achieve such fine results, and thank you to the teachers who guided, pushed and counselled from Kindergarten to Grade 12.

Last but not least, thank you to the many people who support our school and make it possible for us to continue offering young people an excellent education.
