OUR pupils love the tactile nature of clay and playing with clay is very therapeutic and lots of fun.
It can be rolled, squeezed, twirled and pulled in all directions and helping to develop motor skills and imagination.
For the past two weeks the pottery club pupils made little traditional Zulu pots by pinching and pressing a ball of clay into the desired shape.
After decorating them with traditional patterns the pots will be fired before they are polished off with shoe polish. Our Little Oaks can’t wait to show their pots to families and friends.
