THE last week of the second term was filled with learning all about how to stay fit and healthy.

Our Little Oaks had a look at the different types of food that make up the food pyramid, and at what makes up a healthy meal.

Then they tried out different kinds of sports on the big sports field, like long jump, sprints, throwing balls and much more, having loads of fun in the process.

At the end of their learning journey they remembered the following - being fit means eating well, getting lots of exercise, drinking lots of water, having regular check-ups, getting enough sleep and keeping our bodies clean. If we’re fit, our bodies work well, feel good, and can do all the things we want them to do, and we are even able to think better.
