Important Neighbourhood Watch meeting

2016-12-07 06:01

OVER the past few weeks there has been an increase in house break-ins throughout the town, but thanks to the recent formation of four Neighbourhood Watch groups in sections of the town, residents have become far more aware of security, the need to look out for suspicious activities, vehicles and individuals and to report these on WhatsApp and to their respective security company.
This has meant the certain prevention of a number of criminal incidents.

Neighbourhood Watch 4, covering the area from Shepstone Street and Louis Botha Avenue through to Durban Street (up to the corner of Durban and Thomas Handley), is to be formed at a meeting to be held on Thursday 9 December at 6pm in the Pannar lounge at Greytown Country Club. It is in the interest of all residents living in this section to attend this meeting - the other sections are operating well and efficiently.
