THE combined U10 and U11 played against Wartburg at the T.J. Schraader field last Thursday.
Greytown was defeated by Wartburg, making 62 runs in 15 overs, with a loss of three wickets. Greytown made 43 runs, all out.

The boys learnt a lot and will definitely try harder at their next match.

Thank you to Mrs Schaikh for the refreshments in the blistering heat. On Wednesday, 28 January the U13 cricket side travelled to Wartburg. Greytown lost the toss and batted first. Greytown was off to a slow start losing an early wicket, however, managed to gain momentum. Greytown made 78 runs for the loss of six wickets in the 18th over. Wartburg came in to bat and Greytown applied pressure capitalising on their mistakes. Wartburg made 32 runs for the loss of 10, with Michael Thompson taking four wickets. Well done to our boys.
