ON 6 May the U13 hockey girls took part in a tournament at Wembley College. The girls enjoyed the tournament and learnt a lot from it.

RESULTS:

vs Pelham 2 drew 0-0

vs Pelham 1 lost 2-0

vs Hermannsburg drew 0-0

The U10 rugby boys played three games at Wembley on Saturday 6 May. They won their first game, lost the second game and drew the third game.

The U13 rugby team played three 15-minute games at Wembley on Saturday 6 May. The first game Greytown Junior won 21-0, the second game Greytown Junior won 12-5 and the third game Greytown Junior won 32-0.

On Friday 5 May we had the pleasure of being entertained by a company called "Hooked on Books". They act out sections of books in such an entertaining and lively manner that the children are inspired to read these books. Thank you to Hooked on Books for coming and for a most enjoyable hour.

On 9 May Grade 1 and 2 girls travelled to New Hanover to take part in a hockey tournament. The girls enjoyed the tournament and learnt a lot more about the game.

Grade 1: Grade 2:

vs New Hanover won 2-1 vs New Hanover lost 2-0

vs Wembley lost 5-1 vs Wembley won 2-0

vs Wartburg won 3-0 vs Wartburg won 1-0

On Thursday 11 May the U13 rugby sides travelled to Mooi River and played two 7's games against Treverton. Greytown U13 B side had a great start winning the game 35-15. The U13 A side gained momentum early scoring tries leaving the final score at 50-0.
