ON Tuesday 5 September the mini-soccer sides travelled to Wembley College accompanied by Mr Stanczyk and Mrs Billinge. The Grade 1 side played three games. They won the first game 2-1 against New Hanover, the second they won 1-0 against Wembley and the third they won 1-0 against New Hanover.
The Grade two side also played three games. The first they drew 0-0 against New Hanover, the second they won 1-0 against Wembley and the third they drew 0-0 against New Hanover. 

On Thursday 14 September, Grey- town Junior attended the annual WKS invitational athletic meeting hosted by Wartburg. A total of five schools attended. Greytown Junior did exceptionally well, placing second overall and a number of our athletes broke records and received awards. 
Andiswa Myaka broke the U11 girls’ shotput record with a distance of 5.6m. Asande Ngubane broke the U13 high jump record with a height of 1.49m and Christopher Nunan broke the boys’ U13 100m record with a time of 12.80. 
Zikhona Ndlovu received the best U10 award, Andiswa Myaka received the best U11 award and Christopher Nunan received the victor ludorum.
