Let’s get boxing

2016-11-09 06:01

THE theme for this year's project for Greytown Child and Youth Centre is "let's get boxing", which involves collecting lunch boxes and chips, sweets, etc., to put in them.

This is yet another caring project run by Dulcie Jacobz, who last year collected several hundred mugs for the youth living at the centre. The plan is to hand over the lunch boxes to the school-goers when they return to the centre in January. Therefore an appeal is made to the community to assist in this project to help these vulnerable youngsters feel they too are part of the community. Anyone wishing to help, can drop off lunch boxes, sweets, chips or whatever they would like to contribute at one of the following drop-off points: 168 Voortrekker Street, NCT, (Dulcie Brown Jacobsz 082 437 5195) or the Greytown Drug Store.
