Litter is not ‘lekker’

2016-03-16 06:00

Sir, I AM impressed that whichever authority is responsible for the Greytown to Pietermaritzburg road is making an effort to do much-needed repairs.

However, the effect is spoilt by the filthy litter left on the side of the road where vehicles have to wait their turn to proceed on the one way system.

What a reflection on humans who travel this way. Can't you keep your litter until you get to a designated refuse bin or take it home? If the authorities fined people for littering they would make enough to repair many more roads. Come on humans - behave like animals - they don't litter.
