Simunye Communal Property Association of Muden has been granted the first tranche of R8 million recapitalisation­ funding from the Department of Rural Development & Land Reform.
This first tranche has been used to purchase farm equipment to boost the mechanisation of the land reform farm, Mooidraai.

Simunye Communal Property Association has 375 beneficiaries from 75 households living on the 540ha Mooidraai farm.
A total of 31 beneficiary permanent farm workers are paid R128.26 per day.
