ON 18 May, the Grade R pupils had a very exciting Sound Celebration. Pupils had to come dressed as someone or something starting with one of the sounds they have been taught so far.

They also brought a variety of snacks starting with their specific sounds to share with their friends.

What a fun day.

The Grade 2s had their first project presentation last week.

The topic they were given was “wild animals”. They had a lot of fun tasting honey, holding a horse shoe and learning about Jellybean, the African Harrier Hawk from the Birds of Prey Sanctuary.
