Women’ World Day of Prayer

2016-03-02 06:00

HIS Church Greytown will be hosting a Women’s World
Day of Prayer on Friday 4 March as it is celebrated throughout the world on that day.

The world day of prayer is a worldwide ecumenical movement of Christian
women, men and children who come together annually to observe a common day of prayer.

The same theme is celebrated throughout 176 countries globally.

Every year a new theme and scripture reference is given to pray and worship, around which we pray and worship together.

This year the theme is "receive children, receive me" and the focus of the prayers is Cuba.

Venue is the Moth Hall on Friday 4 March at 4.30pm.

His Church spokesperson said: “We are so looking
forward to having all the
ladies from Greytown and surrounds join us for an enjoyable afternoon of prayer and fellowship.”
