IT’S not too late to enter the Forest 10! Although online entries have now closed, one can still enter this relatively easy 10km run-walk through the leafy suburb of Forest Hills. Entries will be accepted at Wakaberry at Watercrest Mall prior to the race or at the Forest Hills Sports Club on 11 July from 2pm to 5pm. Late entries will also be taken on the day of the race - 12 July - from 5am to 6.30am. Note: entries taken on the day attract a R10 penalty.

While this is an official race, the gentle 7am start makes this an event to be enjoyed by all – from elite runners to regular community members who want to enjoy an early winter’s morning walk. There is also a free children’s race for those aged three to 12 at 9am. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be on sale, and there will also be breakfast burgers, etc., on sale. Lots of lucky draw prizes are up for grabs. Free t-shirts for the first 1 000 entrants
