IT was all fun and games for 250 children from Kwangcolosi who participated in Embury Collegeand#039;s annual fun day on 9 June at the Highbury grounds.

The children, aged between four and six, were placed in different houses that were centred around the and#034;Superheroand#034; theme - Superman, Batman, Spiderman, IronMan and Hulk. Each child received a T-shirt which represented the colour of their house.

The children participated in activities such as sack race, bowling, dress-up games, obstacle courses, and so on. The teachers who accompanied the children also joined in the fun and participated in the activities.

Each house was awarded a prize and each child received a medal - deeming them superheroes.

The excited children and teachers were treated to lunch and sweet treats that were sponsored. Momentum was at the event and treated the children with goodie bags.

The day ended with the Embury students taking part in the activities which ensured that everyone had fun and closed on a high note.

Justin Moodley Embury student thanked the Kwangcolosi community for allowing the campus to host the fun day there and allowing them the opportunity to spoil the children.

“We would also like to thank Highbury for the use of the grounds. Also a special thank you goes out to Momentum for treating the children and helping during the event.”

He also thanked sponsors who helped make the fun day a success. - Supplied
