FOREST View held a Spelling Bee competition for Grade 4 to Grade 7 pupils recently. The school is impressed with those who were chosen to be part of the competition as they had clearly spent many hours learning their words.
Pupils had 100 age-appropriate words to learn and then had to move onto a more challenging list of words that the children had not seen in order to narrow down the contestants until there was finally one winner in each grade.

Winners in Grade 7 were Kelvin Hough (first) and Qiniso Dlamini came second. In Grade 6 Lusanda Malinga came first and Lizzy Marais, second.
First place in Grade 5 went to Zoe Shepperson and Lorenzo Stevens came second. In Grade 4 Joel Marais came first and Kelly Griessel, second. - Supplied.
